Long time no submit!
I want to thank my wonderful procrastination first of all, for letting me finish this before the year was up. Also, I'd like to thank my Macbook for not freezing up too much while I worked on this.
Most of all, I'd like to thank my roommate for providing me with the inspiration. Oogum Boogum sung by Brenton Wood
And there's a background too! /gasp! Yes, I have no idea what has come over me! The sky leaves me...wanting. But I really do love the water. Hope you do too!
There are definitely flaws, like always. So don't stare too long (you might be disillusioned). The water was referenced, but I don't remember where to find it. No reference used for anything else. /regret
On another note, does this girl not look absolutely bubbly? I knew I was happy when I listened to that song, but I can't remember why. Ah well.

hi there, I'm here to critique. take note that my critiques are meant to be objective and by no means offensive. alright? lets roll
to start with, I really love the posing and body language in this, and the folds on the skirt and fashion are following the flow of the body rather well. the shading could use some more refining, and I can't tell where the light source is coming from
the hair comes off as too much like a single solid color, and the highlights and shading need more contrast.
while the water effect is done well, she herself doesn't seem to be a part of it too much. if she was energetically running around like that, then there should be water splashing up, particularly around her back leg that's up.
the clouds come off too faint and there's too few. not to say that there has to be more clouds and they need to be more visible, but the sky is so single toned that it's kind of needed to make it more visually appealing.
to sum up, nice anatomy and dynamic posing full of body language and emotion, just work on your coloring skills and some of the bg stuff a bit more
